What I mean is that Sebria to beat Brazil will have to play better than it has so far. Serbia is a very solid team. They don't need to play better than they have, but they need at least certain key players to play well. Brazil plays a different style of volleyball, and they can hang in there even without breakout performances by certain players because they are more fluid and versatile.

I do not have personal grudge towards Carlini at all. In fact, when Poulter gets hurt, everyone says start Carlini(I also agree), and Karch did what the fans asked. And yes, everyone is pretty terrible today, from passing to defense, a level downgrade compared with Italy. But Carlini's setting is bad, it is indeed bad. You are given a chance in the team and you should grasp the opportunity. Everyone watches the match finds the misconnect between Carlini and Washington(she needs to figure out what happened to her) , misconnect between Carlini and SWP(she needs to improve from all aspects, I thought she can go to Tokyo, but she really cannot) that SWP can only tip a lot of times. Just pointing out the problems. You can say Hancock is not good enough to make the roster, I previously thought so, but she did perform OK when she was the substitute, and also facing DR in the quarter-final. She proved herself in really really really important matches. That is enough. She did not set well enough to win the match but her placement was better than the other teams setter!! So what does that tell you? The performance of the hitter must also be scrutinized. If our setter is better at placement than opponents that says the other teams hitters are better at taking advantage of less then optimal setting and that Drews/Washington etc., must also up their games as well. To single out Carlini in support of Hancock is laughable. I laugh at your premise. USA's fast system requires a good setter. The requirement for the setter is higher than the other team, as you can see Orro often misconnects with Egonu, and this sometimes leads to Egonu's errors. Orro's setting is pretty bad, yes, that is true, otherwise Italy vs Brazil, italy has a chance at the fourth set. I did not support Hancock, I am just say she is an OK substitute, not saying she should be the starter, as she cannot. Anyway, everything depends on Karch's decision. I do not know his thoughts after this tournament, who is the starting setter and who is the substitute.

I am relying on stats provided by the crew that broadcast the game. What is your problem with that?

What I mean is that Sebria to beat Brazil will have to play better than it has so far. its a final. Brazil loses those 3-0 like clockwork. It is possible. Brazil does not always play at the same level. Against Japan (a team that defends very well) it struggled a bit in the beginning. Japan's difficulties are the block and not very high attacks. I hope Mihajlovic plays very well, so it will help Boškovic.

this is what i meant when I said she gets treated like %*$# from fans. There's so many comments about her... from the public *and volleyball fans* about her being "italian" or what not... She deserves so much better. She's not alone. The same comments go to Sylla, Nwakalor, etc.

She gets treated badly by fans and media. That's not true, lol. It seems to be serious locker room issue. But... some racist mother!!!!###$$$!!!er insulted her on her social media pages: "You don't what they wrote. They asked me why am I Italian. This is my last game with NT!". This makes me want to puke.
