No it’s not. She needs to stand up for what she believes and show the next generation that quitting isn’t the answer.

I am relying on stats provided by the crew that broadcast the game. What is your problem with that? The crew stats show distribution, not whether they were “good” sets. smh

Italy is full of stupid people. It is necessary to ignore them.

this is what i meant when I said she gets treated like %*$# from fans. There's so many comments about her... from the public *and volleyball fans* about her being "italian" or what not... She deserves so much better. She's not alone. The same comments go to Sylla, Nwakalor, etc. def. not just a italy problem...look at premier league/champions league matches...wasn't there fans who threw *bananas* on the field at black players recently? they love their black/players of color until they mess up not perform to their unrealistic standards, and then tear them down when they don't

There is a way and a way to hide one's strength, such as playing differently from how you want to play in the finals. Or trying new ideas. Give the opponent an idea that the team will play one way while you plan to do something else. careful, you can't say anything negative about serbia or bosko with this guy you’re annoying. Of course I’m going to object when someone says Serbia is gonna get rolled when they legitimately have lost like 5 sets total. It’s clear all you want to do is troll the teams that actually make it this far so why do you even watch lol? Couldn’t have exited when China did ?

No it’s not. She needs to stand up for what she believes and show the next generation that quitting isn’t the answer. Yes, she should transfer to USA.

Theres been many (mostly isolated, but often enough to be a big problem) issues with racism from italian football fans for as long as i can remember.

come on this is unfair and absolutely unnecessary not at all dramatic I disagree. I don’t agree with what she’s been through but to give up is never the answer. Those before her didn’t quit in the face of racism. I want her to stand her ground and fight.

Did you see who Italy elected, I'm not sure her life is safe as a black LGBTQ+ woman in the current era. They are literally members of Italy's crazy fascist era which was only in the shadow of Nazis but not much better. Who said she is quitting? She is quitting the country that's not accepting her and let's see what they are without her, maybe she will continue elsewhere

She did not set well enough to win the match but her placement was better than the other teams setter!! So what does that tell you? The performance of the hitter must also be scrutinized. If our setter is better at placement than opponents that says the other teams hitters are better at taking advantage of less then optimal setting and that Drews/Washington etc., must also up their games as well. To single out Carlini in support of Hancock is laughable. I laugh at your premise. USA's fast system requires a good setter. The requirement for the setter is higher than the other team, as you can see Orro often misconnects with Egonu, and this sometimes leads to Egonu's errors. Orro's setting is pretty bad, yes, that is true, otherwise Italy vs Brazil, italy has a chance at the fourth set. I did not support Hancock, I am just say she is an OK substitute, not saying she should be the starter, as she cannot. Anyway, everything depends on Karch's decision. I do not know his thoughts after this tournament, who is the starting setter and who is the substitute. You said she deserved an apology a biting slam on Carlini. You pretty much singled out Carlini as the culprit for incoming scorn. Poulter will be teams preferred starter as USAV awaits the next hotshot upstart to separate themselves from the pack. My bet is on Podraza. Hopefully Karch is gone by then.
