Team USA lost track of what made them successful. With supposedly the deepest pool of talent in their gym, they choose to roster backup middles that the staff didn’t have enough confidence in to actually put in a game; ditto the right side depth chart save for tying Cutino to the Dub-Sub. The result is grinding Washington, Chi and Annie into dust by the end of WCH. Gotta think Plummer, Rettke, JT and Micha are at Apertivo somewhere chuckling that they couldn’t better this roster… bold of you to assume any of them would've played anyways (bar JT) |

Plummer has been the worst passer in the gym. Rettke was the worst statistical blocker at VNL of all the current USAV middles and Micha I mean Idk what your argument is for her. |

I don't think any current NCAA OH is the solution for this quad imo. Maybe 2028 but not 2024. Our current crop of OHs need to step it up.
Can I start my Annie Mitchem campaign again? lol

I do think she should've gotten at least a look in the NT gym. we could say that about a lot of players. USAV needs to have a wide camp in 2023. Players in the top leagues (and ones that are at the top of their league) shouldn't be getting ignored. |

depending on club seasons in 22-23 (heavy emphasis on their club seasons) should be getting at least a look at
S: the ones around are fine
OH: Simone Lee, Lindsey Ruddins, McKenzie Adams, Annie Mitchem, Payton Caffrey, Katelyn Evans, Jaali Winters
Opp: Krystal Rivers, Taylor Mims
Middle: the ones around are fine

FYI, JT’s been playing in Italy the last couple weeks, her non-inclusion was a coaches decision based on her missing the last week of practice before the tourney. Other than that, if you like the production from the OH’s, setting and the tiny backup middles Karch won’t use…..well good luck! |
