I wonder what the legitimate coaching alternatives would be/are to Karch and what USAV would look like. I'm interested. Id doubt they would go foreign. It'd probably be from a pool of Slabe, Erin, and Dan Fischer lol and Michelle Chatman thrown in cause she's involved in everything these days |

you could play this game all day. Natalia played as an opposite in an Olympic gold medal match. Tijana Malasevic played in a gold medal match. Do those finals not count for the winners bc bad players played ? I wasnt the one saying "such and such" was a joke. You were. I was giving a comparison. Whether you like it or not, the Olympics are a much bigger deal than the world championships. They're called an "olympic cycle" for a reason. It's viewed the same by players. No one is getting paid big $$ (or remembered) for winning VNL or WC. They're getting endorsements, interviews, followers, etc.. from an Olympic gold. Without a doubt, this is the case in every country. |

There are few sports where the Olympic is not the Grand Prize like tennis and soccer but in volleyball the Olympics is the ultimate goal.

Anna Hall should be getting more playing time. It's absolutely ridiculous that she was just a bench player this tournament. Un f*cking acceptable imo.
For setters, now that our three main options are in the same league, I have a feeling that Karch will use the order in which they finish as the ranking in the NT gym.
Hentz not going overseas and doing LOVB (if that's even gonna happen?) is gonna kill her chances at Paris. I think Fleck might take over her spot soon, since I feel like she'll try and go overseas.
I hope JT has a healthy club season, but even if she is idk how much playing time she is going to get if Stysiak gets put at OPP (even though Monza said they want her at OH). Khalia should 100% get an invite next year.
OHs...idk I hope everyone has a healthy club season. Frantti was a bright spot this summer. Good luck to them.

Team USA lost track of what made them successful. With supposedly the deepest pool of talent in their gym, they choose to roster backup middles that the staff didn’t have enough confidence in to actually put in a game; ditto the right side depth chart save for tying Cutino to the Dub-Sub. The result is grinding Washington, Chi and Annie into dust by the end of WCH. Gotta think Plummer, Rettke, JT and Micha are at Apertivo somewhere chuckling that they couldn’t better this roster…
