Whoever leaked the photos has issues. At the same time if one of the players was my daughter I would be telling her she is just as guilty and there shouldn't be any finger pointing. WTH were these girls thinking letting someone take their pictures with their tops off thinking it would never make it to the internet. Poor decision making on their part. Hopefully this will be a life lesson for these girls and the volleyball community. What a dumb take. Not dumb at all in my opinion. There are bad people in this world who are willing to do bad things. Part of growing up is learning to recognize when not put yourself in compromising situations.

With the context of the video, wouldn’t the initial leak had to have come from inside the locker room? One would think but there is a possibility of the a player/staff member taking the photos/videos but not to share. Then someone accessed her phone and release the content. I doubt anyone from inside the team would intentionally hurt her teammates by releasing private content. Sounds like someone hacked the phone, stole the phone and opened it or someone accessed the phone without that person knowledge and publicized the thing.

A bunch of women showed their breasts in a photo which was obviously kind of a "women rule" photo.
Pretty sure they don't give a %*$#.
The only people who care are incels on the internet and pearl-clutching people on this board.
Basically, who the !!!!###$$$!!!s cares?

The people on this thread trolling to keep this issue front and center are just as disgusting as those who hacked the images in the first place, and who are spreading the images so aggressively on line. I’ve got a lot of blocking to do tonight. The news media that go with this story are just as culpable (the NY Post? Really? What a goddamned rag!) I’m not entirely sure what the point of the leak was, or the fascination of the media with it. Or the fascination of some of you people with it. None of it makes any sense to me. The intensity of the online spread sounds oddly coordinated to me. Like a gamer gate situation. It feels targeted at women in sports. I do not think I want a world where kids have to worry about taking pictures of their friends in the privacy of a locker room. The whole point of a locker room is to get dressed. They are celebrating an achievement. Let them enjoy it. I don’t want a world where people punish them for having their privacy invaded, where the hard won joy gets tainted. That may be too much to ask. At the very least, I want a world where the badgers show these bastards they won’t get the better of them. Quite honestly, there will always be some limited fascination with this type of situation. The coordinated nature suggests something else, and my guess is that part is aimed at Sheffield. He is not well-liked in a fair share of VB circles. Seriously, its sick to invade privacy like this. It much much sicker to victimize students to get to someone else. People who are that far off the deep end need to be kicked out of volleyball, and should be nowhere near student athletes. I honestly have a very hard time believing that explanation for this situation.

Why would the players' moms care?
It's a group of women who just won a national championship and are clearly saying "Don't care about our game or how we play? Well, just look at our breasts".
It's a statement.
I'm assuming that flies over the heads of most people.

Why would the players' moms care? You don't have to hit "create post" when a thought pops into your head.

I'll try to explain this to some people.
Wisconsin was just doing a Brandi Chastain. On a different level. If you don't remember, she got a lot grief for ripping off her jersey in an Olympic soccer match after scoring the winning goal and revealing a sports bra underneath. She was immediately vilified.
If you're offended at seeing womens' boobs, not sure what to say.
While I hate Wisconsin with the passion of a thousand burning suns, I have to think the team is laughing about this.

Funny, I don't remember Brandi taking her bra off in front of millions of viewers. The two incidents have exactly zero in common. You should be thinking about maybe taking the next few plays off. Take a seat on the bench, catch your breath as it were.

This situation has been repeated many times. People take pictures for private viewing. The pics are shared with a private group, possibly on the cloud. The pics show up on-line. How did this happen? Many ways. Someone in the group shared the pics, or someone or the cloud was hacked. Human nature, people like to share, like digital gossip. Human nature, some people are ornery and release them for that reason. Some anti-WI conspiracy, unlikely. Just Human nature interacting with digital pics. Human nature may also drive a future lawsuit. Unfortunate situation, but predictable.
