What did Cook do? He got a great setter who for some reason lost her hands. 🤷♂️ To be fair to Hames, she spent the offseason thinking she wouldn't set. Which is on Cook. I mean she was never great. |

You’re not going to beat a top 5 team on the road when two of your captains can’t pass. That was embarrassing and hard to watch. We were out of system all night. Kudos to Wisconsin for putting on a serving clinic.

I mean she was never great. unpopular opinion - I also never thought Kelly Hunter was something special, I feel like Nebraska has been carried by the defense + pin hitters... I can't think of a good Nebraska setter that wasn't Cooks daughter |

Honestly, both Neb and Wisco are currently both way too hit and miss for me to feel okay about either of them in the long run. Neb seemed to have figured things out, but got exposed tonight. It’s better than having your weaknesses exposed in a regional final, I guess?

it was neat seeing the UW team singing their alma mater (or so I'm guessing) with the student section; and that the network showed it.
(or maybe BTN frequently does that, I dunno, as I don't watch that many matches on it)

The fact that the most efficient hitter for UW was a LS (franklin) tells you every thing you need to know about how the badgers won this match, and the ways they might be vulnerable in the future. That said, you have to pick your poison with the badgers.
