stopp he's not that bad, I think he's an amazing coach to be honest And with that I'm DONE I don’t know who said it, or on what page, but they’re not wrong. “John Cook is gonna be in such a foul mood after this match, he’ll probably beat that horse of his to death” Now I’m done.

I’m blanking on the TN transfer’s name. Polemiller? She was good. Pollmiller? She was a good egg, but she was not remotely in the same class as Hunter. You don't accidentally set your team to two Nattys. We agree, but this is like saying Gray is as good as Glass bc they both won three natties. Def has a lot to do with who’s around the setter.

little before my time, I was born in 2000 and didn't follow until 2013, the only reason I know of Lauren was bc I saw a video of Gina Mancuso and fell in love with her then saw some highlights of the 2011 team I joined Volleytalk when you were 4 years old.

Badgers gonna have a lot of dicey moments going forward if Hammill doesn't up her game to at least marginal. Hart, Robinson, Franklin, and Gütekin playing lights out and we're here sweating bullets praying for a side out for the Izzy/Robinson sub. I was quite nervous in set 3. She’s gotta make better decisions and play better defense.

Also Nebraska needed to go at GG more, they barely tested her and shes been pretty spotty at times

Usual caveat, I'm just back from the Field House and have not read the 4000 pages of comments...
... but a question for the Husker fans: is there any circumstance whatsoever where pulling Knuckles out of serve-receive and replacing her with Batenhorst makes sense?
Yes, Batenhorst and Knuckles sub one another. Yes, Knuckles was struggling. But Batenhorst is the best other option? There's no DS on the bench Cook could throw in there at that point? Yes, I am well aware of sub count limits. But we were deep into a set with runs of points such that neither team was gonna run out of subs.
So somebody's gotta explain that one to me. Because it just looks to me like Cook panicking and saying "I gotta do SOMETHING here!"

To be fair to Hames, she spent the offseason thinking she wouldn't set. Which is on Cook. I mean she was never great. Maybe never great but he certainly reigned in the creativity she had with K2 - she was fun to watch

If a team ever was convinced they would win a big match, it had to be these Huskers…. They were on a roll, all the Badger legends that had tormented the the last 5 years had graduated. This was a lock to end a horrible losing streak and build to a commanding conference lead. How soul crushing…

Really good win for the Badgers, obviously. They have been inconsistent this season, but Good Wisconsin is pretty darned good.
