Sheff pregame:
What changed between Minnesota matches; Gave up long runs, erred themselves out and didn't defend well in Minnesota. Became a major practice emphasis to play more disciplined D.
Illinois: Both teams UW is playing this weekend are high risk/high reward. Ends up with choppy matches - with serving runs interspersed with serving errors.
Illinois offense: Had a day in forst set last time. Terry is great. Mosher posed them problems. Nunge is back and is probably their best server.
Gulce: Getting better.
Shanel: Held her own against Minnesota. Didn't get tested much on SR, which was probably wise. Played good D.
Dildine pregame:
Relaying adjustments to players: TO and defensive adjustments - have a premeeting before meeting with team. Gary will draw it up and talk to the team.
Defending Mosher: Hoping that they are better defensively against Mosher. Likes the B1G because it teaches you. Need to take line on D. Need to press over on the block to take away cross court.
Runs: Illini serving is really good. Expects they will challenge the OHs and the seam between Orzol and Franklin.
