Smrek had 2 kills and no errors on 4 attempts, hit 500. Also had 2 blocks. Not lighting the world on fire but doing her job. When she gets on a ball she is great. Her blocking in the middle is a work in progress, though. Still not as good as I'd like it, and not as good as CC despite the size. Middle blocking takes good anticipation, reading the set and lateral movement. They are actually rarely the tallest players on the court. |

Nice win for the Badgers! I hope they can do well against Maryland this year! I haven't looked closely, but I did see that Rainelle Jones played vs Minnesota tonight. She was out last weekend. |
