The ncaa should punish Nebraska for what they did to Hord by excluding them from the tournament. There have to be consequences for this lmao

Hawaii gets the short end of the stick once again (Travel wise) Hawaii should be glad to be here. And plus, I’d rather not see Hawaii sent to west-coast teams every year, just like I’d not like to see TAMU at Texas every year. I understand Hawaii’s travel situation is unique though. There's decent evidence that Hawaii performs better in terms of outplaying its seed the years it gets sent away from the West Coast. This hypothetical draw isn't great (Purdue), but no Hawaii fan should ever complain about being shipped away from the West Coast.

This hypothetical draw isn't great (Purdue), but no Hawaii fan should ever complain about being shipped away from the West Coast. Maybe you should not speak for any Hawai’i fan. We know what we speak. Regardless of where we are sent, we are a filler for a space. The fact that the committee still use the travel factor even though it was used after 9-11 with the concern of safety in longer travel time has now morphed into something to do with a budget emphasis, will leave a school like Hawai’i having distance as a major factor for shipping us out instead of bringing three other teams into Hawai’i. Before the Power Five, before 9-11, Schools like Hawai’i and other west coast schools held regionals pretty regularly, but that has shifted with new rules as well as shifting influences within the committee. So let’s not get it twisted. There is a bias towards the Power Five simply because they exist.

I will be shocked if the committee awards a San Diego team who is only 2-1 against RPI Top 25 teams with a Top 4 national seed.

The only things that gives me hope is they’ve been 2-1 for a long time and the committee still had them at 5. I think they max out there, but I could actually see it shaking out for them if certain scenarios play out in their favor.

San Diego and BYU have big RPI upside you don't think San Diego will pull a Pacific and forfeit the match?
