Argentina-Peru tied 1-1 in the U23 Pan Am Cup, ARG leads 18-13 in the 3rd. This is the bronze match.

The final: DOM-MEX, should start somewhere around 10pm CT, depending on how this finishes. It should be a good match.

Argentina up 2-1 in the match and 11-8 in the 4th. Kinda want Peru to win, but also ready for DOM-MEX to get underway.

Argentina wins bronze. Peru takes 4th.

I'm not sure if Dominicana will start Ariana as setter or opposite. Tapia was struggling yesterday, but had been the starting OPP all tournament. I'll imagine Tapia starts but has a short leash, and Ariana moves to OPP if necessary.

is ariana a better setter than de la rosa? i saw her (camila) at a tourney georgia tech hosted last year...she looked okay, iirc

I think so. Ariana for sure has more potential, she's younger and more athletic. All-around she's a better player.

I remember getting a look at Ung at the Tokyo Olympic Qualifiers and was impressed. And even with that, she's gotten so much better.

MEX survives a late DOM rally, wins the 2nd set 25-23. Match tied 1-1.

Sofia is definitely playing like the typical go-to high-volume Arizona OH that we were used to seeing under Rubio.

She's delivering - 12 kills on the match for Mexico. Both of DOM's OH's have 7 kills so far.
