I'm just being realistic 😅 yes I think Karch is mismanaging our team, but not on the level of Manzatti and FIPAV. If Antropova had gotten her Italian passport sooner I suspect Egonu would not have been called for the Euros. Manzatti is really out here trying to prove he can be successful without Egonu. Just delusional Why is this a good thing in his eyes? Egonu is young, talented, not injured that has been publicized. Who, when they have an Egonu available, wants to prove they can win without her? Use her! She’s available without political red tape of naturalization that others are fussing about because of Vargas and others. The vitriol written about was not initiated by her. Egonu has a successful track record for the most part. Why not use her? This is a serious question. imo there no technical reason for not wanting her, it's entirely political, a power play by the coach/management |

In the team there are Sylla, the Nwakalor sisters, Omoruyi. There doesn't seem to be any problems between them. The motivation is kept secret and neither side has talked about it. And that means there is nothing technical about the motivation, that is, it is not related to the role of the coach or the player but, anyway neither of them wants to disclose. The most likely thing is that the two cannot stand each other however I doubt (hope?) that Mazzanti is not smart enough to put antipathy aside. There must be something destabilizing the team, at least in the coach's eyes, and so from this situation came his decision to refound the team. Of course, these are just suppositions. On Pasini's site, all hell has been breaking loose for 2 days now. (But nothing is going to change). |

I remember Carlini saying something about having to deal with Egonu's ego/attitude/something, when they played together many years ago. Mazzanti should put his best players out there and find a way for it to work. Dealing with egos of superstars is a major part of a coach's success; not just drawing up tactics and scouting other teams. I keep thinking of the brilliance with which Chuck Daly dealt with all the egos of the Dream team at the 1992 Olympics. |

Did he have personality clashes with them too? I can't handle them so I'll just get rid of them and blow up the team it'll be totally fine 😂 I agree managing egos is a a top coach skill, but I guess he's demonstrating he's not a top coach. I've read some translations of his timeouts, they are pretty cringe and not helpful. |
