Iâm going to have a hard time stomaching Auburn in. Beat 1 program above the RPI cut line (UGA twice), go 0-15 in sets against top 25 teams and lose to the worst team in the conference, Mizzou. Doesnât scream tournament team to me. Maybe the committee really can reach to Michigan or Northwestern. Those Colorado State losses are pretty ugly. I don't know why'd they stretch to put Tennessee in but leave out Auburn given Auburn has the H2H (and Tennessee lost to Bama) I'd also rather Auburn than Ball State. As VT's #1 Michigan stan, it would be embarrassing to get an at-large bid after that travesty of a season. Even if they had closed out on Iowa on Wednesday night, it would have been a reach. They had multiple, winnable opportunities against teams to improve their position over the last month and lost every single one of them - Purdue x2, Indiana, Illinois. They were not remotely competitive in any of their matches against the top 4 teams in the B1G and their non-con schedule was thin gruel. If Michigan or Northwestern get a bid, it would be out of pure B1G bias.

We play Minnesota every year, and have recent tourney history. Can we get a crack at Ohio St. or something? Also, those 8 seeds are brutal for WSU and UW. Theyâre both Top 20 Pablo seeds (Uw has key players back) who would be primed to break a regional but are just getting screwed by the draw.

The 5 unseeded PAC teams go to: Louisville, Wisconsin, San Diego, Minnesota, Nebraska. Hope the committee doesnât pull a Michella Chester and copy it.

Itâs impressive how quickly weâve pivoted from âPAC-12 teams get screwed by using geography for the bracket instead of seeding teamsâ to âthe PAC-12 gets screwed by seeding teams.â

Standard lineup for this week: Thursday: Thanksgiving Dinner. Friday: Early Christmas shopping. Saturday: Pre-bracket outrage. Sunday: Actual bracket OUTRAGE!

(4) Rice vs. Southeastern Louisiana LSU vs. (5) Houston This is basically the tournament that opened the season, except replace Samford for Southeastern LA. Lol This would be fantastic for LSU! I can actually see them win this bracket!

I wasn't sure how to order Minnesota-Ohio State-Nebraska-Oregon. I hope Minnesota gets rewarded for this past weekend, and I'm not sure how low Ohio State can go. I too think 1-6 is its own group and 7-9 will be the three Big Ten teams. But Minnesota at 7 puts a little too much stock into the last weekend and not the overall body of work, IMO. 8 total losses, including Pepperdine (at home), Purdue and Northwestern (at home)... Yes, two great wins to end the season for sure, but I just cannot look past Minnesota and Ohio State's bad losses this season. Nebraska's 5 losses are all to teams who will be Top 10 seeds. I would go: 7 Nebraska 8 Minnesota 9 Ohio State I put Ohio State at 9 not very confidently because they are the only team in the Top 25 of the RPI with a +100 loss. That alone could knock them down a couple more seeds. Minnesota has H2H over Nebraska and 2 more T25 wins, with the 2nd toughest SOS. They are 8-2 in the last 10 games vs. Nebraska 6-4. Seeding them below Nebraska should not happen.
