What position is Oregon lacking at? I think the ducks are going to be very good next year. Stacked up on middles, 2 nice outsides, talented setter, libero is back.. plus i’m not sure what their freshman class is like

It's gonna be full of players in their last year of eligibility, that's a pretty special opportunity for the teams' prospects in 2023. Losing Brooke will definitely make their ball control/defense take a hit and I suspect that Colyer is going to get served a *ton* this year. Her passing numbers on the year this past season were not good and while Gonzalez is decent, I can't see Oregon passing two anymore with Murphy and her to help hide Colyer. But McGhee and/or Onye is definitely an upgrade in the middle, Pukis will have more experience with the players under her belt and Colyer (who seems to be a star) will be in her second year.

I completely agree. I think Oregon on paper is very good next year, but I don't think you can say enough about what Brooke did for that team.
She was a complete difference maker.

If Pukis sets her right and often enough, would not be surprised if she was a 1st or 2nd Team AA if Oregon makes a strong post season run. She was under the radar at UC Irvine
