Hopefully Stanford gets another Madeleine Gates. Out of nowhere, transfers to Stanford and helps the Cardinal win its 3rd Natty in 4 years while setting the record for NCAA hitting percentage in the tournament. One can hope.. Onye Ofoegbu should be on Stanford’s speed dial list right now. She more thank likely has the grades to join the Card but no idea if she’s on their radar. I'd love to have her. Stanford needs a middle and she's a bioscience major. If she's graduating, Stanford has several bioscience masters and, if she has good grades, she'd probably get accepted. Hambly seems to develop middles pretty well and she'd have a good shot at a natty. But she'd have to be willing to walk on. Stanford has no schollies next year. She could probably get an academic scholarship if she was willing to do that.

Nebraska to the portal is 100% locked if a scholarship is available Nebraska fans informed me in their 2022 thread that all scholarships for 2023 are currently assigned and Evans was not one of them. Somebody else would have to leave to let them get somebody am out of the portal with a scholarship. We all know how JC is about pulling scholarships from athletes last minute so if he wants someone he'll get them

Tuition is reasonable for undergrads if you're middle class or below. Housing is exorbitant no matter who you are. Stanford gives lots of scholarships too. But you have to be willing to jump through the hoops to get one.
"The average amount of Scholarship and Grant from all sources received by need-based aid recipients in the current freshman class is $62,557. This includes $57,495 average scholarship from Stanford as well as grant funds received from federal, state and private resources. The table below shows the average total scholarship and grant by income range for dependent students whose families live in the United States."
If your family is wealthy, expect to be soaked.

To be honest if I had a close family member who could get into Stanford I'd be willing to be soaked. Gladly. But that's not the case.

Anni leaving would leave Nebraska with no seniors next year (unless they go to the portal) Nebraska to the portal is 100% locked if a scholarship is available Not having a scholarship available has never stopped them before.

Was Evans Nebraska’s starting setter this season? she was the second setter in the 6-2. Second choice (most of the time) behind Hames

Okay so in my understanding is Hames > Evans in 6-2, Orr (sub). I didn’t watch the sweet sixteen but I remember someone said that Hames came in at the 5th set to serve. Who did she sub for?

Basically:
Caffey leaves, opens a scholly. Evans gets it for the year. But all 12 are taken for next year.
