I wanna see this go 5! Give me tired legs in round 2. But also I’m rooting for Rice, and even though they are the queens of 5-setters, I’d rather them just win. Rice said absolutely not |

Happy for Rice at least.
CU fought hard for two sets, but eventually the nerves shook off for Rice and CU never elevated their game to match.
Poor distribution by CU, but I wonder how much that had to do with the sets being off early and simplifying the offense.

Well, Tabron sure picked the worst match to have her WORST MATCH EVER.
Hadrych did so well.
This could have been a 5 setter if Colorado just won that 1st set point in 1st set.

Disappointing last couple of sets by the Buffs, and by Tabron overall. Hopefully they have some more depth on the pins next year, because they were very capable of winning this match. Rice played well when it counted though, and dug a lot of balls to make COL struggle to earn kills.

Not to hate on Tabron, but this my first time seeing Colorado this year and she is struggling. I don’t want to say she’s the reason they are losing, but she is not having a very good game. Colorado needs her for a chance to win, and she has struggled. She WAS the reason CU lost. Too bad. It just WAS NOT HER DAY |

I'm not actually a Buffs fan, but really didn't want to see them lose like that. I sure expect to see Baylor crush Rice.

Does Colorado’s coach just not know what a timeout is? No he is horrible in game coach. Hopefully he goes to UCLA. |

Colorado needs her for a chance to win, and she has struggled. She is WELL above her season high in attempts. . . and we're midway through the 4th. No clue what CU's gameplan was today. She's only had 3 matches over 40 swings all season. Well, since Rice was serving her all night.... and she shanks a ball to the left... Simpson only has the option to set her -- and then a tip or error. Cant believe how bad Maya did today. Wish it was a week ago instead of today. |
