With all the medical retirements I'm guessing Tamas has more schollies availble than he thought he would. A lot of programs are having issues with keeping up with schollies and I think some players are going to find difficulty finding new homes. I hope Tamas can capitalize on this and transfer in some studs.

This spring will be a big test of his recruiting skills. The tournament highlighted how the portal has changed the landscape for the premier teams. |

I know it’s a long shot, but i would be ecstatic to get Beason Demps, Wenaas, or Parra as one of our Outsides…imagine having two studs on the pins who can play 6 rotations, Burbage on the right, and then another stud Middle from the transfer portal. Any of those would be a HUGE upgrade to the illini depth |

There was positive talk about TTA for a time, but that has disappeared. Is that no longer a possibility? Not that i forgot about TTA, but given her 2nd Team All-American status, she might have some opportunities with true contenders in the ACC or elsewhere! Also the OSU Hitters completely got lost in the shuffle for me, but they would be great too! |

Also the OSU Hitters completely got lost in the shuffle for me, but they would be great too! Seriously, if we can just snag 1 or 2! We need the depth. Even though I am excited to see what DeBoer can bring on the outside. 6’4” and has been a stud for Canadian Jrs. Would also love an experienced MB. I think with Barry coming in we “should” be good on the L/DS spot. |

Also, with this years class (Dean, DeBoer) plus next years class and who we have currently. Looking like a team of trees - all 6’3 and up!
