Stanford’s middles did well.
But the two OHs (Baird and Rubin) hit for a combined 17 kills, 10 errors on 47 swings, hit 0.148. This worries me a lot going into regionals.

Stanford looks really really good. Helps to have the most elite S-OPP combo in the nation. Podraza and Londot would like a word! Late to this but I promise you B1G fans that good volleyball occurs outside of your conference and it’s unnecessary to embarrass yourself like this one could argue that Podraza/Londot aren’t even number 2 when you have Blossom/Frohling, Stucky/Beason, Grome/Rutherford. |

And Baird, the classic Caitie Baird, won’t have 2 successive good matches. So she was due to have a bad match, kidding. |

Grome and Podraza it’s coin flip there haha Grome was better last season not sure what happened. I’ll agree with that, Grome/Podraza is pretty close. But they’re both carried by their opposites. now this is the least true thing ever. Rutherfords range is awful. She’s that good mainly bc of Grome. Not the other way around. Rutherford can do nothing with a ball that isn’t in her perfect window |

Another great night for Kipp. She and the middles hit in the 600s. Would have like Baird and Rubin to be at least above 250, but I guess I'll let it slide. The both started well. Baird served well, and Rubin was decent in the back row.
