See, to me this is serious. If we are going to have a review system, and then let people at home see the event more clearly than the refs at the match, what is the point? We are talking about breaking viewership and attendance records. This needs to get fixed before everyone thinks it's just a scam. LOL.....the refs cam is tilted toward him ....so how would a ,'fan,' sitting behind the scoretable know what the ref was looking at? Try to cope.

Sunderland can barely get the names of the players said correctly so there is that. This outrage parade is better than the Thanksgiving Macy's Day parade. Just for the record, Larry Punteny had the play by play.
And he thought it hit the antenna (on the one replay we got to see).
yes...often announcers say that and disagree OFTEN, with the call but they also acknowledge that do not have access to the same images. Now Larry Punteny is an expert?

There are more than one monitor hooked up, the one the ref is looking at is 'mirrored' onto others, people who are controlling the replay system at the scorer's table, etc. And theirs are facing the crowd. Is this really the hill you want to die on? It was a bad call.

we all saw one shot. The ball was hit with enough velocity to move the antenna if it hit the tape close enough to the antenna. For anyone saying it was blatantly clear is biased. Bc I saw the one replay just like everyone else and it didn’t provide an antenna angle or an angle from behind to see where it contacted. Did it appear to? Yes. But they ruled it conclusive. And I just don’t think the conspiracy theories about the NCAA advancing Nebraska for profit is realistic, as much as y’all want it to be because we know that’s where this is going to go. And to think the NCAA can convince enough people to ensure Nebraska advances by making the wrong call in game is absolutely comical. Again-they had access to more angles than we did. And Nebraska has no control over the replays or the camera system. NCAA rules. Get over yourself. I saw that it clearly hit the antennae and then bounced down off the net tape. Nobody is being obtuse here. I had nothing on this match. No favorites. But I do have something on fairness, and if the guy was so scared of repercussions that he saw the video that way, then we have a serious problem. For the record, I just watched in slow-mo the part they showed during the review and it definitely hit the net first and then looked to hit the antenna.

The angles and images from the ESPN game footage was better than the angles that the official was being supplied.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that ball hit the antenna. No idea how the review didn't show it.

Thats why I asked what his seat number is and I am guessing he is furiously now looking at the seating chart so he can come up with an answer. We are brought up in sports to respect the refs even if we don't agree. Its called sportmanship. Just because it didn't go your way I would still like to think that applies. That way many of you have acted reminds me just how unclassy sports have become. He made the call. Respect that and move on.

How a Nebraska fan is still arguing about that not being clear af and not Just shutting up and taking their lucky ass call Is wild to me. Dude. You seem cool, but I think it would be great if you backed off just a bit. Many of us Nebraska fans are saying it was a questionable/bad/unfair/etc call that should have gone Kansas' way - including this Nebraska fan. It's mind boggling to me just how many of you are willing to be so blatantly rude and ruthless about hating on something. Like I said before, you seem cool and you have great insight on a lot of things, but I think you are really pushing the narrative that ALL Nebraska fans are entitled and thus the endless attacks.

Move on with your lives.
