Just left Devaney where I was sitting behind the scorer’s table. Ref on replay didn’t have the same looks available, was mostly looking down the net cam and not a sideline view. He was saying he couldn’t tell if it hit the antenna. Live and on the replay showed on the big screen in Devaney, I thought the ball hit the antenna. Wow! |

Sunderland even commented they didn't show any angles of the play inside Delaney. When does that ever happen? Something smells. It’s the NCAA tournament. They enforce the rules, which are different than regular season where Nebraska shows NUMEROUS views. Did you not recognize it was that way for EVERY challenge-even the ones Nebraska challenged? Then they should turn off the video board in the arena and still show replays on the broadcast. |

we all saw one shot. The ball was hit with enough velocity to move the antenna if it hit the tape close enough to the antenna. For anyone saying it was blatantly clear is biased. Bc I saw the one replay just like everyone else and it didn’t provide an antenna angle or an angle from behind to see where it contacted. Did it appear to? Yes. But they ruled it conclusive. And I just don’t think the conspiracy theories about the NCAA advancing Nebraska for profit is realistic, as much as y’all want it to be because we know that’s where this is going to go. And to think the NCAA can convince enough people to ensure Nebraska advances by making the wrong call in game is absolutely comical. Again-they had access to more angles than we did. And Nebraska has no control over the replays or the camera system. NCAA rules. Get over yourself. I saw that it clearly hit the antennae and then bounced down off the net tape. Nobody is being obtuse here. I had nothing on this match. No favorites. But I do have something on fairness, and if the guy was so scared of repercussions that he saw the video that way, then we have a serious problem. you saw it from your television? |

Own it dude/dudette homer!! but replay system, and camera placement, etc. which jc constantly says nebraska has best of best and it would be better if ncaa didn't hold us back. You do not say that and then have a blatant failure of your facility! Again, this makes zero sense. Log out, and try again tomorrow 🤭 |

Lol I think you think Nebraskas success and failures affect me more than they do. They really don’t. I like volleyball. I’m from Nebraska. So I watch. It really doesn’t affect my mood enough to have to lie. This isnt advance nebraska for profit: this is the claimed best facility for volleyball , having a replay system failing!! |

The fact - we didn't get to see the slow mo replay. I know this has been said over and over - but why is the NCAA not allowing us to see slow instant replay? For all we know - that was a horrible call. And the only way to erase that is to actually show the reply... Didn't they say last season that the replays couldn't be shown on the arena big screens? A wild guess is that because they were using arena cameras for the big screens and the stream, slo-mo couldn't be used. |

Sunderland can barely get the names of the players said correctly so there is that. This outrage parade is better than the Thanksgiving Macy's Day parade. Just for the record, Larry Punteny had the play by play.
And he thought it hit the antenna (on the one replay we got to see).

If we are going to have a review system, and then let people at home see the event more clearly than the refs at the match, what is the point? We are talking about breaking viewership and attendance records. This needs to get fixed before everyone thinks it's just a scam. |

Washington upset #2 seed Nebraska in the sweet 16 in 2010. In the fourth set, Nebraska thought they had won the set to send it 5 after a Washington hitter appeared to hit the ball out (from Nebraska's perspective). The linesman called the ball in and this was pre-challenge era so you just had to deal with the calls as they were given. Washington would go on to win the set and the match, followed by Cook telling their coach that the ball was out. Things got heated. |
