Houston what a great season and you scared Stanford in the first but after that set it was all Card. If Stanford wants to best USD they will have to get out to a much better start. Blossom in the front row concerns me a bit. But San Diego has the horses. I'm really looking forward to this match. |

They just demolished a good Houston team and didn't break a sweat.

OK, just please don't tell me you had any belief in Mayfield to cover. The O/U is 49, the combined total is 26 with a minute to go, because both offenses stink AND OMG BAKER MAYFIELD TAKES THE RAMS 95 YARDS AND WINS THE GAME WITH A LAST-SECOND TD PASS. Holy Schnikes, what just happened? I still easily won on the under, but what a game. Back to volleyball! I meant, I hope you know Mayfield is playing and he is a magician and the Raiders are the Raiders. Can you delete my quote out of your post so we can just pretend this never happened...  |

It was good to give Francis a bit of playing time before the big match against San Diego. A bit rusty but I think she will be fine.
Miner’s set distribution to the middles have been better lately. I like that in perfect passes Vicini and Francis were the first options.

Stanford v. San Diego will be tough to watch because I love both teams and wanted both in the Final Four 😭 Whoever wins I just hope they beat Texas (if OSU doesn’t already 😜)

Went better then expected I guess, except for coma inducing slow roll in the 1st. Francis was about as expected maybe a pinch above, Baird looked like she had a head cold. Oglive got stung in the middle more then I like. Oh the coach for Houston is not, shall we say, the greatest.

Well , they’re moving on…. I hope Hambly is ready to sub Smith on if needed against USD. Since miner isn’t really setting middle I’d prefer the blocking and Smith seems more ready. But who knows maybe Francis proves me wrong Francis did what she's supposed to do, take attention away from the outside hitters and scare the crap out of opposing hitters. Smith did neither. Yeah, I noticed that Sami was not ready for quicks, but that's a timing problem she can solve. She hasn't played since late October. |
