USD dropped a set to WSU, and is coming off the relatively easy competition of the WCC, whereas Kentucky has had harder opponents and definitely been more battle tested. I really don't see how Kentucky loses this match. Kentucky 3-1 You don't see how Kentucky can lose the match, but you are predicting that they lose a set. Let me re-word. You predict that Kentucky will drop a set, but you don't see how Kentucky can lose. I'm trying to comprehend that logic. San Diego has won 26 straight. I predict that win streak reaches 27 before it ends. |

Okay so I watched more games of San Diego and I completely change my mind, I think it'll be a 5 setter or a REALLY close 3-1 win with the 4th set going 27-29 and USD wins the match
For a 5 setter, it can go both ways but I don't think this will be a blowout

I don’t think San Diego has it in them to play good teams cleanly for 3 sets straight. I feel like they’ll have a lull. The interesting thing about watching San Diego is that it never feels like a player is going to play poorly the whole match. Watching their final BYU game Lukes really struggled to start, but I never felt like she was going to stay that way the whole match. And she ended the match much stronger. I would credit Blossom for adjusting well to all her hitters so they can get in a groove at some point during the match. |

Personally I think of this as the madden match. He’s been a great advocate for San Diego and particularly Blossum all year. Now they’re going against his favorite team.

Please not P. Sunderland on the call. He will start talking about how great BYU is and wonder why they are not the ones who should be in the match. I wonder how many times he will wonder why Livingston of BYU is not hitting for a higher percentage. Most likely he will be promoting KY the whole match and we will hear ad nauseum about the great run to the title from two years ago. I watch most VB broadcast muted anyways, so will have to do the same on this match. Toreros in 4. They win the net battle and the serve and pass game. Dumbest take I’ve heard.
