This could go either way, a blow out for each team or a really good match that goes 5

Florida defense can win this match. They are a top 10 blocking team in the country and had stellar floor defense against Iowa State. If Florida can keep Buzzerio from going off then they should win.

Comparing recency statistics:
Last 5 Matches for Pitt: BYU, Colgate, Boston College, GT, Louisville (4-1, 15 sets) Hit % : .265 to .203 for opponents Kills: 15.9 per set to 13.73 per set Serve Receive Rating: 2.1 to 1.99 Aces: 1.8 per set to 1.27 per set Blocks: 2.8 per set to 3.33 per set Digs: 15.26 per set to 14.13 per set % of Digs that Result in Point: 24.9% to 19.1%
Last 5 matches for Florida: Iowa State, Ole Miss, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Kentucky (4-1, 17 sets) Hit %: .293 to .198 for opponents Kills: 13.76 per set to 12.18 per set Serve Receive Rating: 2.05 to 2.13 Aces: 1.35 per set to .94 per set Blocks: 2.59 per set to 2.59 per set Digs: 14.53 per set to 11.53 per set % of Digs that Result in Point: 21.7% to 13.4%
I'd say offense is pretty even. Pitt's performance in their loss to Louisville was worse than Florida's performance in their loss to Kentucky. Pitt is showing to be better in the Serve-Pass phase statistically. I think this is gonna be a good one. If Pitt passes to keep their offensive speed this is a good match for them in my opinion. I think thye will get Florida OOS, but Florida has 2 pin attackers that can be very productive OOS.

How does Florida win with so few kills and blocks? Are they just banking on teams erroring themselves? If that’s the case Pitt is a bad matchup for them… except for Dalton.

Pitt gets outblocked by their opponents, per those 'last five match' stat?
Florida is really tall...
