I just wanted to tell you it was cold in the arena and that's why we couldn't pass. I will also work to eliminate the transfer portal so we can prevail. Finally, I want to encourage more drunk middle-aged women with Karen cuts to go back to cheerleading because you did it so well in our semifinal (she literally ruined my experience of the games). Let's train you up the way we train up Huskers! And rest assured if Team USA ever comes knocking for opportunities to have players train and play with them I’ll turn them away like faster than a Jehova Witness at my door because we like the we we do things - at a really good high school level! |

This is what I am not liking, if this was a Texas player saying this everyone would be all about it. You can tell this meant a lot to Harper, and even if she doesn't win ONE natty, you can tell she is driven to do anything possible to get it. I think some people are making a sh*t ton of directed/pointed takes at individual players (whether its their attitudes or them flopping yesterday). Like i get you hate the program, but there is a lot of posts that are clearly will such malicious intent behind them. Like I know we have our own batch of bad posters, but like it’s honestly more likely i will see a post shtting on harper murray or lexi Rodriguez than i would for any other player in this position lmao it’s because some of your fans come into other match threads to talk about how good your players are and how they wouldn’t make the same mistakes lmao. See people talking about Lexi vs Elena Scott during the Pitt regional final. So ofc when Lexi is tragic in the title match people are gonna say something lol |

For anyone who has issues with Harper’s press conference. She is an 18 year old who had probably just played in the most disappointing game of her life 5 minute’s earlier. Y’all can have your issues with Cook, but to rag on a girl who is in this situation for the first time in her life and is speaking with I’m sure a ton of anger/heat/fire is sad lmao. People saying “i hope she never wins a championship” or laughing at what a very emotional girl is saying in a VERY emotional situation are the real losers here. I agree. Also, that totally makes me respect her more. That’s the kind of athlete I want on my team: someone who sees a setback as a challenge to get better and has the confidence to match. That being said, I think 70 year old Cook’s comments were on the arbitrarily shady side. Yeah, Cook really says a lot of things he shouldn’t. He is someone who has a lot of experience in these situations, he should know to hold some things back. 1) It’s just plain unnecessary. 2) It honestly probably DOES add fuel for opponents wanting to beat us lmao |

Look we all make mistakes, do thing we should not, say this we should not. VT is a perfect example of saying/posting things that maybe are better left unsaid/posted. Also, just because you are old does not eliminate you from doing those things. While I wish the outcome was different, I still have great memories of this season and am proud of the season they had.

Yup, all I am saying is that down the stretch I am salty that other teams benefit from it this year and next year and we don’t. Nothing more than aimless complaining and ranting. If you gave us some fifth year seniors from the portal this year then I probably would nullify this point lmao. Just me wanting what other teams have that we don’t. I love sports 🙃 |

Nowhere in my post did I mention the last two seasons. I am talking about this past season and next upcoming season. I am jealous though that our best players are players who won’t get covid years, whereas a lot of other top teams have top players who get fifth years. But speaking of last two seasons, in the last two seasons I expected a ton of covid players, they were upperclassmen in the affected season. I guess I had hoped that all the good underclassmen wouldn’t have kept coming back for the top teams’ covid years but here they are. I recognize that as a sports fan I am unreasonable |

RETWEET. also, as we just saw, confidence and attitude can make or break you. i love the fire and drive from the players because that is truly what it takes to win. you don't win if you don't believe in yourselves 1000%. of course somebody's gonna be wrong at the end of the day but you're honestly putting yourself at a disadvantage imo if you don't utilize the power of the mind in sports. just my opinion! |
