Wishful thinking from the haters You're right. Those staff dynamics are awesome. Did the staff dynamics suck at setting all year? Or blow 4 swings at match point? Or tear Knuckles’ ACL… Anyone expecting the assistants to be fired better not hold their breathe

I have a lot of fondness and respect for Nebraska and its accomplishments, but the truth is that despite your past accomplishments and your continued great recruiting neither you nor anybody else will dominate women's volleyball again. There are just too many really good players and really good coaches now. All those top 10 and top 20 recruits are no longer that much better than the top 50 or even top 100 any more.
Keep filling Devaney, it's great for the sport. Keep your enthusiasm. But get real. Parity really is here.

But a likely final four with Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin doesn’t scream parity to me. Sure more teams can make the top 25, but the list of programs with a chance to win the natty isn’t growing by much.

And this year, we're not yet at the final four. Keep watching.

What's wild to me is how Nebraska has so many of the top OH recruits yet don't have a single one who can terminate, and then teams like Oregon stumble into Colyer It all comes down to setting. Inconsistent setting equals inconsistent hitters. I appreciate Nicklin and Evans’ grit, but they were outplayed often this year and especially this morning by Pukis.

Agree - as a Northwestern fan, I feel like if Nebraska had either of our setters the team would easily be Final Four quality

It was an oddity that the recruiting class was the "best class of any sport, all time" as was being reported. The numbers were what they were. None of that guaranteed success, which is what some people apparently thought. just the idea of them is biased and silly. Andi Jackson wasnt ranked at all last summer (or the one before?).. commits to Nebraska... oh look she's top 30 now. mess. I think her developing vertical had a lot to do with that.

Hames appeared to have injury that increasingly limited her in the tournament. Her signature defensive plays were mostly missing today. Definitely an extremely gritty player. Evans super hard worker.

Something people hundreds of miles away from Devaney on a message board seem to know all about. I didn’t realize 301 had a live stream.

Im not saying Andi isnt a top 30/whatever player. Just when she got associated with nebraska, that's when the "rankings" took notice.

I’m sad to have the season end, but I’m super excited about next year. I’m desperate for a Nebraska team with a setter that is special. I was hopeful that was Orr, but that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. I’m all on the Bergen train now. If she is special, we are going to love just how terminal our hitters can be.

I wonder who will win the spots at the pins. Krause looks the best of the all. Batenhorst is getting kills now, but can be pretty high error. Whit same thing.
All three clearly improved a lot from last year. Lindsay plays with a lot of fire and has been steady since the end of october. Ally is swinging harder and she’s gotten do much better at swinging for the hands. Whit even took a few nice swings down the line over the Nunneviller a couple times.
I’m interested to see which of these three don’t play if Murray comes in hot.
