Love these positive vibes about everyone staying. Call me a boomer, but I love when hopes for next year are built on the incoming recruits and the existing players getting better, not which free agent they can pick up from school X.

But if we’re being honest, they do need a big portal pickup in the back row and middle. Their current players are not strong enough at those positions. |

Fair enough. I like to see the portal used to fill holes (like Murr and Grote), not recruit whatever hot shot is available without respect to current roster.

Yes completely agree and second that sentiment. I also happen to believe that KCook is not that kind of coach either. We will definitely need a few players from the portal to join the team next season (specifically middle and DS/Libero). |

I don't think so. Our biggest concern should be replacing Awoleye and Murr. We are losing a middle and a libero and our incoming class is a setter and an outside. The miss match is due to Covid. I don't know if KCook has two schollarships to work with. I hope so. |
