Keegan took the Gophers much further in his first year at the helm than Hugh did in his. Hugh’s Gophers didn’t even make the tourney his first season. (I realize that was also Hugh’s first year as an NCAA head coach and the same isn’t true of Keegan; my reason for pointing it out is so that maybe the haters will recognize that a coaching change is a huge deal.) Untrue. Gophers went to the NCAA in 2012 (Hugh’s first year, though some might debate it), and in 2013 (his second season, and the first year he was coach all year long). It was 2014 that the Gophers failed to make the tourney. |

comet you mean like this? I don’t think anyone is trying to discredit Creighton. That wasn’t the point. The point was maybe cut your players a little bit of slack… for once. Season’s over and you’re already salivating at the idea of starters transferring out. Like damn. Or this? Crowl has always given me mean girl energy...and I can corroborate from people who know her from HS and beyond that I am indeed correct in these feelings and I would love to see her leave. Especially if she is on schollie  Jesus. Or this? I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to understand it’s also possible to have two high functioning, successful, good at what they do parties that just operate differently, and would opt to not work with each other and find a system they believe fits their functionality better. There doesn’t always have to be a “problem” to create a narrative about that has to paint one side in a negative light. Or this? I’d be interested to understand how a conversation between Kelly and Taylor went. Kelly: thanks for your interest in Wisconsin volleyball. Taylor: it’s all my coach’s fault Kelly: Sign here. Now, don’t jump all over me. I’m just trying to figure out how she would explain to a coach what’s going on and why she’s transferring. I coached for years and had kids come to my club program and we would ask some of these tough questions. Again, I’m not slamming anybody. I’m just trying to understand the “why” behind this and how the conversation would go. That’s garbage. Not slamming anybody? What a joke. You started with a dig on her skill and then added a character assassination. Yeah… tried that.

I wasn’t expecting to beat Creighton, but to see all the pins struggling that much was brutal. Could we see a MN team without both Wucherer and Landfair next year? Surely one will be gone. Idk if I would be that upset tbh I guess when you hate your own team’s players it’s hard to remember the context of your vitriol. |
