Only chance I think would be Crawford. If they run a 5-1 next year with their new star freshman setter, I don't see Booth, Smrek and Robinson not playing front row. Bucky is so loaded. It is crazy their depth. I believe Smrek, Crawford, and Robinson are seniors next year, right? I think I remember from last year the Crawford is going to med school? If she were to leave, likely to wherever she’s going to med school? She’s undersized but a solid middle anyway. |

Any MN fan complaining about other facilities is on crack. The Pav, or whatever its name is, is awful. We were there in fall and had to strip naked to keep from melting. The steel beams blocked the view. The fans cheering in a monotone, dead succession, M I N N E....etc... was reflective of some of your players when playing defense. While loud when your teams perform, it is not the best facility. Oh look, another smug, obnoxious, delusional, and entitled badger fan. The lack of self-awareness is astounding, considering a Nebraska fan made that post... You, a grade A troll were all to quick to want to come %*$# on the Gophers because that's all you know how to do. Come back to volleytalk when your IQ rises above room temperature. Or better yet, don't come back at all. Nothing of value will be lost if your account were to disappear. It is ancient but even with that we consistently are third or fourth in the nation in attendance. Lot of history in that place. |

Was that you, the naked idiot sitting up in the rafters, that time? Really. I assume if you watched a match, it was the Big10-Big12 challenge, which was in August, not Fall. In any case, the Pav is airconditioned. I went to most matches this year, was fully clothed, and, to the undoubted gratitude of those bored, monotone chanting fans around me, had no inclination or need to strip. There are a few obstructed viewing seats. Just a few. If you had one, I was going to say, sorry you came all that way, only to find the place nearly sold out and so crowded that you couldn't move over. But given the disrespectful tenor of your post, I can only say, well done, Pav. With any luck, you won't be back. If I was naked so what? People pay for that occasionally. Lol Assume makes you what? I went in fall...a few years ago. Nothing has changed because I went back this year. The PAV got AC a couple years ago, no overheating any more, so no you weren’t there this year. |

UW has a great medical school. It's one of the reasons TTA chose to use her grad year here. Many, many applicants to med school do some master’s work between undergrad and med school acceptance. If she’s going straight to med school, she wouldn’t be playing. There’s no way you could maneuver a schedule for a division one athlete and the first year of medical school, especially at a high-level med school. The labs alone would make it impossible. |
