I have a sinking feeling that Jenna will leave. I would be so sad, she’s such a staple on the team. I hope i’m wrong. The thing about Jenna is that she is feisty. We don't have enough feisty on this Minnesota squad; can't afford to loose any. |

IF Wenaas leaves, Crowl needs to step up on the right side. She has so much potential to be very dangerous, and hopefully she's coached to be aggressive. Then we need some excellent littles from the portal.

I hate to say it but I agree… she’s a great 6ro OH but I don’t see her beating out Wucherer and Landfair. Wenaas definitely outplays them in the backrow but those two are just way more efficient at the net. Plus Schnichles is a pretty highly recruited OPP coming in and Crowl seems like she’s creeping in on that spot as well. I’d hate to see her go but I would completely understand |

Jenna’s Insta now says University of Texas-Austin Someone tell me I made a mistake. what credence do you give to someone with a grand total of 2 posts on VT? imo, only if Jenna's dream to play professionally has changed, would she remain a Gopher. As much as we hope & pray she is not likely to remain without a spot as a pin hitter. What can our new coach offer her outside of a fervent promise to do whatever possible to bring a national championship with her as a linchpin on the squad? We cannot 'push the river'. I'm not going to engage in further conjecture on this topic. I trust it will all work out... one way or another... right? The future is brighter given today's news. What's the value in darkening it? |

I truly hope Wenaas doesn’t leave. She’s been such an amazing player for us.
But I have confidence we could succeed without her. Landfair and Wucherer as left pin (or one to right), Booth and Davis in the middle, Shaff at Setter. Then L/DS we’ll have to bring in from the portal presumably. Right side is another portal option or let Crowl/Hanson show what they have for a full season.

How is Cook re making in-match substitutions? Or generally experimenting? As in trying Wucherer on the right as an experiment, or subbing in Hanson as an offensive spark? More likely to do such things than Hugh?
