FYI picture quality better through ESPN+ than what I was getting through Spectrum cable on ESPNU. Not sure but I think Spectrum has a 720p resolution vs 1080p through ESPN+

Sheff pregame:
Crawford had a bad game offensively against PSU, but kept her head in the match and with the scouting. Came alive in the 5th.
Performance in passing was not good or consistent. (Not mincing words on this.)
You look for other ways to win. Was happy they did. That is resilience. Made him feel good about his team.
Regional finals are the toughest round mentally because players want to get to the final 4 so bad.
White pregame:
Pitt is gritty. Good coverage. Keep ball off the floor to get swings.
Really good at getting ball to hot hitters. Buzzerio, Fairbanks for example.
Buzzerio has had a crazy career. Setter, RS, OH at Iowa. Lets her see what is available.
Their sets can come at various tempos that can cause problems.
Block has to be good about getting a cross and holding position.
Gott get them off the net so the defense can shine and they can get opportunities in transition.

I thought I heard in their last match that Dalton got hurt Dalton has been out for a few games. (Four??) Cam Ennis has been playing for her. I have not seen anything official, but Dalton looks to have a hip or lower back problem. Ennis looked good against Florida. |
