Ok people. This Pitt-WI matchup is a new thing. Let's be civilized and argue over whether Clemente or Molitor was the great BB player of all time for their respective teams and not this other nonsense.
You know, like when MN and WI argue over whether Minneapolis is rather further north. ;-)

Like damn, we are dead already. Stop. My bad my bad. I thought y’all took the day off to mourn. I take it back Thankfully we played so early that we mourned the rest of yesterday and are now back to hate on Texas and Wisconsin.

Badgers' passing was Lions serving. So the solution is that Pitt needs to have a weak serve.

Please gift us with a definitive ranking of your top five favorite NCAA teams in order. Hard to keep track. like I just don’t understand why people get so bothered that I like multiple teams. Why is that such a bad thing. 1. Kentucky 2. pitt 3. Baylor The rest depend on the season. Right now Oregon and San Diego Fan is short for 'fanatic'. That is too many teams to be fanatical about.

He's not even listing all the teams he loves to root against. I admire his passion. It makes his posts a lot more fun for me. I'm glad he posts here.

Okay fine. Any team that’s playing against Miami is my favorite

OP fleshed out - I’m taking a guess at the audio stream radio station, will update when it’s announced for sure.

I am salivating at a Buzz vs Orzol matchup. Their teams matched up twice in 2021 - I don't know how much time they spent across the net from one another, or how much they'll spend across from one another tomorrow. But in 2021, Buzzerio went 9-2-29, .242 and 15-4-30, .367. One block-assist the first time (in Madison), and three the second time (at home).

Substitution limitations depend on what's going on with the rest of your lineup. Fairbanks sets and hits, so that frees up a sub. Pitt uses six subs per rotation. A team can get away with that most of the time - Wisconsin has done so plenty in past years, does it less so this year (by limiting when they choose to use a serving sub). But you don't always get away with it, if a set is heavy with 'first ball sideouts'. So what is Pitt's "plan B" for when subs get short? Does Klika stay in to serve? Does Ennis play six rotation? Does Buzzerio? Did Dalton when she was available? Klika serves sometimes, Buzzerio stays in sometimes

Other players have better serves. Are the middles serving or do 2 ds’s sub into serve for each middles? I would rather the libero just get the serve over than have a middle with a better serve have to play defense. You would think getting your libero to have a good serve would not be that difficult. Both middles actually have great serves, but Cat Flood serves for Nwokolo most of the time

And that’s with Iowa setting… (and passing and defense and coaching). I am aware that Buzzerio no longer plays for Iowa. Those two occasions were nevertheless "Buzz vs Orzol matchups".

For the last few matches anyway, Gray is a usual 'serving middle' We sat at the end of the court yesterday and could watch Gray serving fairly close-up; her serve seemed to wobble at times...and be strong. But I don't remember her getting any aces on the Gators.

If I did the 'thought experiment' correctly, and both teams start in their usual rotation positions, Orzol and Buzzerio will be across the net from one another for one and a half of the six rotations. So it will be as much a Buzz vs Franklin matchup and a Fairbanks vs Orzol matchup.
