My previous assessment of Pitt has been affected by that Louisville dismantling. I couldn't watch the Florida match. I'll have to tonight to correct that impression.
It was weird watching the badgers pass so poorly that you spent most of the match last night waiting for a transition situation so that they control the ball well enough to set the middle or RS. There were so many blocks or PSU errors that those transition moments were a lot fewer than you might otherwise expect, so it rarely felt like the badgers had control of the ball. And I'm wondering if that was part of the game plan. PSU is not going to win a transition game against the badgers so they might as well swing for the fences.
I don't think Pitt will do the same thing.

Dear old people and faux fans:
Some of us will be standing and cheering. If you do not wish to participate, please watch on TV. Also, tell us what expensive seats you bought so we can sit in them.
Sincerely,
A fan approaching "old people" status.

Sincerely, A fan approaching "old people" status. Wisconsin's crowd is old and quiet. Period. Some exceptions but OMG they sing louder in the timeouts then they cheer. During the 5th set, SO many fans were sitting and not even clapping, and that was from what little I could see on TV.

My best fan experience still remains the regional semi final and final in Champaign in 2013. Those WI fans really cared! No expectations.

Not so much the next match against Minnesota. This will be my first match back since those two and I’m hoping for more Nebraska sweep energy!

If the Güçtekin has the same serve return woes as she did against Penn State, the Panthers win in 4.

weiskircher was not having it with the commentators yesterday Oh. I'm with her. I bailed quick. Gore is no stranger to volleyball, but he seemed to be in a fog. It doesn't help that his voice and cadence lends that impression too - like he's had one too many bourbons.

I do find it really annoying that Gore always gives cop out answers in these type of articles. Who do you think will get to the final four? “Gore: Your guess is as good as mine”. Then why are we even interviewing you!?!?! Get someone from VT on this panel in that case. And in the article before the tournament he honest said something like “whoever wins all their matches”. Are you kidding me!? www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/35203971/ncaa-volleyball-2022-regionals-expert-breakdown-predictions?platform=amp

Wisconsin needs to win this match in order for all of us to go to bars in Omaha and discuss why Nebraska can't beat the Badgers in volleyball or Football. Looking forward to seeing you all in Omaha. Go Badgers!
