Y’all out here blowing the blossom horn lol she’s good but she’s not this next level setter yikes i think it’s just in terms of the setters left in the tournament, she’s been shining so far. i don’t see any “pro-level” setters in the ncaa right now anyway, (maybe miner) but plenty of time for them to grow

you can give blossom the praise she deserves without having to commit to her being the next USA NT setter lol Umm I would never give Karch the pleasure…. I was thinking the Romanian league .. she's not eastern european enough for that. unless she transform into blossovic... but she would need to study deep dish for that.

The thing about Blossom going pro is she'd need to find a strategic fit - good passing team that wants to go up-tempo and is OK with a setter being flashy - there aren't a ton of pro systems that are amenable to that and teams aren't going to change their personnel and tactics for a short setter. If she finds a good fit, she could really thrive. Might be best off in Puerto Rico (where the coaching is hands off/non-existent) or find something fun in Brazil.

no one is saying blossom is the next USA NT setter (hopefully no one, at least—she’s 5-9 lmao), just saying she is the best setter at the ncaa level and that’s something she should be complimented for! bc that is also very hard to achieve

This post also serves as a lament for Lauren Plum

Can't wait to go back and watch this one in its entirety! Was pretty transfixed on Pitt's match and didn't switch over until like the second set. Congrats, Toreros!

A lot of people are coming down kinda hard on Stanford. For stretches of this match I thought they looked the best they'd played all season. After set 3 I felt like Stanford was kinda overwhelming SD. It's downright scary that they're getting everyone back, and I can only imagine this loss will fuel them.
