Well, Oregon played well for most of the match, disappointing 5th set. They had a chance to close it out in the 4th.
I just think that it's an incredibly tough task to take out a top team on their home floor. Being a top 4 seed is just a huge advantage. The opponent almost has to play perfect volleyball for three full sets.

Lol for a team with such good backcourt defense, they’ve give up multiple free ball kills this weekend Not to rub salt but didn’t Oregon win set 4 on a freeball kill against your defensive minded team. |

This. Every bit of this. Claire was NOT feeling it for the first half of the match but absolutely turned things around. DeBeer just did DeBeer things. Kudos to the Ducks on a great match/tournament/season. I will consider myself an Oregon fan next season. #QueenMimi for NFOY. *That was an absolutely terrible call on that last challenge. PK was in the net. |

Moving regionals to home sites was such a good move. Maybe for some. I don't know, I just know how big HCA can be and I'm not sure I like it in the NCAA Tournament, particularly at this stage. Oregon lost two sets by two and dominated another one, just tough. I think it makes the tourney a bit less exciting.. like since that change it is almost a lock for all of the top seeds to be in the final four.. the home court advantage feels like tooooo much of an advantage |
