I prefer neutral sites in general. So, if I had the choice, yes, I'd put them at neutral sites. Is that the better practical or financial move? No, but, it's just my preference. If they want to do the opening round matches (when teams have byes) at higher seeded teams, that's fine with me. I just think playing in loud, packed arenas is so much better in every way. It's a better experience for the athletes. It's a better experience for the fans. It makes for a better TV product. You're growing the game by getting more people excited. If I were the NCAA Volleyball Tournament Czar, every match before the Final Four would be a home game. Allow travel days, but higher seeds always hosts instead of having pods. I answered this before I saw yours. You worded it much better, nice job. |

thanks much. I can get those to play on my phone, but not on my smart tv—it’s really clunky to use the tvs browser (Silk? Wtf?) and then it looks like I have to log in. Ugh. I can mirror the phone onto the tv, but it doesn’t seem to go full screen. I’m really not that technically challenged usually, but ugh. At any rate, the ESPN+ On demand now seems to be complete—so watching the end of set four! |

How is Anna? She was hopping on one leg late in the match after slipping on a wet spot. Hope it wasn't too much of a tweak to her recovery. It looked like she landed on that leg without apparent trouble several times after that, so maybe she's ok. |
