This was like the most Oregon match ever. You calling it too early couldn't have been more off, knowing Oregon. They didn't get swept all year and played a ton of 5-setters, and were more successful than not in them. I have the vision lol, you said it would be over in an hour after Louisville led 6-2 in the 2nd set. You have zero vision.

I want Mimi going after that ball on match point 100 times out of 100. No regrets. That's one tiny play in a giant match. Wouldn't have even been in that position to win, if not for you, Mimi! hard agree! she got us here by going after it. im so proud of her. You gotta swing for it, with how DeBeer and Chaussee were hitting at that point you've gotta take your chances. We had them, just weren't able to execute.

I've seen a lot of great players come through the Ducks program. So many memorable names and careers... I don't think they've ever had a more complete, selfless, aggressively determined player than Brooke Nuneviller. She not only willed her team to a lot of victories, but she put everything on the line to get them where they are. She did it all and worked so hard. I'm excited about her future in the sport, but she'll be sorely missed in Eugene. The career she's had as a colegiate athlete is so inspiring. Got get em, Nun!

Maybe for some. I don't know, I just know how big HCA can be and I'm not sure I like it in the NCAA Tournament, particularly at this stage. Oregon lost two sets by two and dominated another one, just tough. I think it makes the tourney a bit less exciting.. like since that change it is almost a lock for all of the top seeds to be in the final four.. the home court advantage feels like tooooo much of an advantage How mant great comments abiut the match, exciting, thrilling, great enetgy in the building. Now take the same match and put it in a prearranged lixation, say Phoenix. Sohow nany Oregon fans there today 4-500? So they go to Phoenix, Louisville brings 500. You are dreaming if you think the energy level would be the same. What abour the rv visual if 1k in a 10k arena Totally understand the advantage if HCA. The positives have to outweigh the negatives. HCA is earned, when you have the top 8 teams in the country, you have to overcome. The obe or 2 years with neutral sites absolutely sucked.

Nuneviller could have easily went in the portal and gone ANYWHERE she wanted to try to win a championship. She went from libero her freshman year to an outside hitter her sophomore year where Oregon didn’t even make the tournament. They had an early exit (first round I think) from the tournament last year. Made three elite 8s. She’s still going to go down as one of the best ncaa players of this era, and I think the fact that she stuck with her team makes her even more respected. What a career.

I'm so sad for Brooke. But at the same time I'm so happy for Lazaro. Seriously. Lazaro is one of the best teammates ever. I'm jealous because I could never have the infectious positive energy she has. She also has some erratic mistakes/moments but always bounces right back.

Well.. with how the Louisville players always cry for touches on very out calls, how the players are on the court, and just how horrible Louisville fans are (at games)... not rooting for them anymore. They WERE up there as one of the ones I wanted. Too bad, because I like their coach. Agree. Fed off their crowd.

Do you dislike the NFL playoffs being played on home fields? I prefer neutral sites in general. So, if I had the choice, yes, I'd put them at neutral sites. Is that the better practical or financial move? No, but, it's just my preference. If they want to do the opening round matches (when teams have byes) at higher seeded teams, that's fine with me. I just think playing in loud, packed arenas is so much better in every way. It's a better experience for the athletes. It's a better experience for the fans. It makes for a better TV product. You're growing the game by getting more people excited. If I were the NCAA Volleyball Tournament Czar, every match before the Final Four would be a home game. Allow travel days, but higher seeds always hosts instead of having pods.

A lot of unfortunate things happened while she was at USC, but she's always been great.

Forever grateful to Oregon for sparing us the Cook-DBK coaching tree talk and all the other Nebraska gibberish you hear when they are playing in the tournament….
