Another throw by Eggleston It's a little late to be calling those. Maybe next year. and idk, do people think tips can only reach like 1mph or they’re throws? If it stays on the fingertips and doesn’t dramatically change direction…

We have seen Texas play great semis and then get rolled in the Final let’s see what happens but whew. This was a match that didn’t entirely depend on Eggleston and if they get it done without her it’s hard to see a situation they lose in It's not hard for me. Get Texas out of system consistently. Stay in system consistently. Voila. Easier said than done. Texas play from the service line is the best in the tournament, and Texas serve receive is the best it's ever been. But they're certainly not unbeatable.

at least San Diego put up a better fight than 2018 BYU... Talk about a demolition. Plummer and co. took no prisoners on that fateful Thursday night

Personally, I think that while TX obviously has a ton of talent this year, I think the biggest difference I see in them is their on-court attitude. I think the culture of the program is at an all-time high. Yes, the players with winning track records being infused into the program is helpful -- but seeing as how much fight SD has in them, even at 22-20 TX in the 4th, I thought they would force a 5th, but this new TX culture just closed the door and said "NO!" Proud of both teams, but excited to see what Logan can do in the natty. She deserves this weekend. In men's sports, we would never attribute upgrading skills gap resulting in better outcomes as "culture."

and we’re picking up the libero with the highest passing percentage in the country next year when is she coming? because she's gonna need some time to adjust to the faster speed of UT and top ten competition.

Commentators rarely mention Halter. Without Fleck on the team I think Halter would be a top freshman libero. A very real part of the Texas advantage is having these two great defensive players on the court so much of the time.

If it stays on the fingertips and doesn’t dramatically change direction… Or if the player gets on top of the ball and hits it directly down to beat the block. Like what happened when she was called for it against Nebraska last year in the fourth set. But Eggleston will be the poster child for people who hate the way the game is being officiated when it comes to abusing the reluctance to call lifts on attacks. That's just how it is. My thing is if you're not calling it all season, and then not calling it in the tournament, it's a little late to suddenly start calling it in the semifinals or finals.

Wasn't a SD believer at times, but wow...they deserve the success and this FF appearance. Good on these kids.
Texas wasn't great, and they still won going away. So much talent and clutch plays in spite of. That's the story about these Horns. They'll be hard to beat.
