all the social media facebook, twitter, IG people.. especially B1G homers on social media. VT has been mixed. There were definitely some people here who were buying in.. and others alleging they weren't going to be battle tested come tournament time and were a good team, but not Final Four quality. And, the SD coaching staff and players have read all that and use it as motivation? 100% are you kidding?

I'm getting you riled up, which is not my intention. Not at all, amigo. Just some studio show banter to kill time until the big showdown...

And, the SD coaching staff and players have read all that and use it as motivation? The players might not read VolleyTalk, but they definitely read Twitter, TikTok, Instagram etc. where the same type of stuff gets posted. I mean, I get that most college student athletes are into social media. I guess what I should be asking is if most on here are assuming that the players have noticed any disrespect out on social media, or if the SD players have actually posted about it or been quoted about it in interviews and it is confirmed on their end.

If there have been quotes from SD players and coaches feeling disrespected, I haven't read them as I don't read their clippings.

Well, my only team that I am rooting for is Texas so here is my prediction: Texas 3-1 Molly Phillips: 13-0-26 .500% Logan Eggleston: 18-5-40 .325% Asjia O-Neal: 11-2-22 .401% 4 Blocks Madisen Skinner: 10-4-30 .200% that’s like impossible for them all to have that many attempts in 4 sets So the totals of those attempts is actually 118 and Texas had 124 attempts in the 4 set win over OSU <3 maybe add a few for Kayla Caffey

Who do they claim disrespects them? The NCAA committee (by seeding them one or two spots lower than they'd have liked)? all the social media facebook, twitter, IG people.. especially B1G homers on social media. VT has been mixed. There were definitely some people here who were buying in.. and others alleging they weren't going to be battle tested come tournament time and were a good team, but not Final Four quality. Typical fan myth.

I just don’t think that number for each is possible. Against osu skinner and Eggleston combined for 84 attempts out of that 124 and Molly has had more than 26 swings one time this entire season. I don’t think that spread of numbers is possible in 4 sets.

Those 3 matches also show it's likely not a good sign for us if Molly is getting that many attempts. Typically means we aren't getting the normal production out of our pins.

I have seen multiple San Diego players post on tiktok about the hate they receive on Instagram and such

I have seen multiple San Diego players post on tiktok about the hate they receive on Instagram and such But it wouldn't say much for their preparation if they said it made them play better and it's the reason that they are in the Final Four.

Based on their TikToks yes. They know people don't think they're legitimate.
