I am SO HAPPY for this team. This team reminds me a lot of the 2016 team that had to overcome some key losses from 2015 and fight through a lot of injuries and unknowns throughout the year. I knew once we won that first set that was we’re gonna win the match. SEE YOU GUYS IN TAMPA. HOOK EM

I can't remember where he said it but Micah Christenson (USA men's setter, top 3 in the world) talking about how he evolved his game to not be jump setting as much unless he was actively trying to draw the block/dump or get to a tight ball because his location was better off the ground
obviously her injury has led to the jump limiting, but my own personal observations would be that Ella's location on the slide and to the left pin in general have been much more consistent off two feet

So Wisconsin is going to be the best team we've played this year so far. How much better are they than Stanford? At this point most of the teams left are as good as the other…just a matter of who plays better that day…that being said Wisconsin is damn good lol…their height is just unfair but they're not unbeatable |
