My confidence level prior to last night's match was somewhat on the high side due to: - all #1 seeds having won in the first 3 matches earlier in the day; since 2016 when the regional sites went back to the #1 seeds hosting, not once have all four #1 seeds advanced to the Final Four; the odds were with us- Stanford demolished us 0-3 in Austin in September; our team had the psychological advantage of wanting to redeem themselves this time around and Stanford didn't have that same motivation  |
