While we are waiting for tonight, I went through some of the tournament box scores. It really stands out how good the pre-game scout and prep are, because so far the team has been extremely good in shutting down key players on opponent teams: A&M
Lednicky held to .000 v .306 on the season Muoneke .195 v .294 Meuth .147 v .286 SMUWheeler .087 v .249 Perdue .091 v .195 Shime .143 v .299 TennesseeMoore held to .043 v .302 Fingall .222 v .321 StanfordKipp .268 v .320 How well can we contain Franklin? Seems like a tall task (all the puns intended) |

I like Barnes more than you guys. do you need to remind them about her being an ace leader Always. We could get to a 1000 pages simply on my reminders. I will say it’s unfathomable to me it’s never mentioned. How hard could it be to say something about it when she’s at the service line? Just a quick snippet that she’s 4th in career aces among active leaders. And now that Texas is this deep in the tournament and none of the players above her are still playing, AND everyone is on their last year of eligibility, technically she’s 1st. |
