I can see a lot of people running to A&M for Jamie Morrison. A coach with international experience (yeah he may have killed the Dutch but when were they consistent ANYWAYS) may be enticing for some people.
I would think A&M becomes top 3 of the conference next season
Florida next season is making me nervous if they don't pick up a veteran outside... Beason is a HUGE loss to Florida, but they are led by Stucky and being a Sophomore setter, she may lead them to another SEC Championship...
Kentucky is probably going to be pretty strong next season... they just need to figure out their outsides
Auburn - this team is going to walk in and play their absolute hardest and may sneak an upset or two...

Just my opinion but the SEC really needs to step up the women's volleyball. Too many of the SEC programs treat women's volleyball as a second tier sport. Apply the resources to build your programs and the results will pay off. The growth of girls/womens volleyball is off the charts.[/quote]
You’re definitely not familiar with the conference. The support is there…significant amounts of it.

For A&M Frazier (DS) is in the portal ... and LSU has Dotson returning along with Larkin and good middle play. Dotson hit .206 on the season. Lots of kills, but lots of errors, as well. Neither Williams nor Anwusi hit over .290 last season, and both were below 1.0 bps, so the "good middle play" is -- as it seems like it's always been with them -- based more on potential than actual results. They ought to be better, but they're not. I do like Larkin a lot, though. Thanks for the Frazier tip!! The issue has always been development of players at LSU! We'll see if Johnson can do a better job of this.... |

I also noticed, when looking at that post, that Banwarth has been liking Vandy (which we know she didn't get) and Georgia stuff on Twitter since her Ole Miss Departure. Any chance she fills the AHC vacancy that Felicia Turner left when she took over UNCG?

But I don’t think, IMHO, the UGA administration would be too keen on that hire. They would never say to Tom “you can’t hire her” but they would say “have you done ALL your due diligence on this person?, tell me why do you think she would be a good fit for the program?” |

Jade Demps transfer from Wisconsin to LSU. Also, you do a fantastic job. Very much appreciate it. Finally, can we add Vandy to the thread? Even though competition doesn’t start until 2025… they could have a huge influence in the next couple years depending on the staff and recruits the get. |
