This weekend a couple nice tests for those teams in the poll. TAMU get two tough ones, Utah State who you do not want to mess around with and UNI who thumped LSU in 3. Arkansas has Western Kentucky Kentucky has Houston. Lots of quality wins on the table. no shot Kentucky/Arkansas loses right?

I would have said no shot Kentucky loses to Colorado State in 4 and goes 1-6 in sets to Pitt over two matches at the beginning of this year but here we are. And that WKU team is wild. Some really abnormal offensive and defensive schemes. Not an easy night at all out there. More than anything just a chance to get two top 50 wins for the conference rpi.

Arkansas opens their time at WKU with a sweep of College of Charleston, -17, -13, -12. WKU coming up tonight. Second match of the day for both teams (WKU swept Troy).

Besides Alabama's inexcusable loss and Missouri faltering against a Buffalo team that came into the day unbeaten, the SEC earned some nice RPI points today in our 12 wins.
Solid wins over WKU, UNI, Cincy and Houston too. Great job, everyone lol.

I thought SC showed some grit, coming back from two down.

In contrast, how does Auburn - no matter who is out - lose a set to Charleston Southern?

Not the greatest SEC day so far, as SC gets swept in the return match with Cincy, MS State gets reverse swept by Kennesaw St (with some familiar faces in the crowd), and TAMU loses to a good TCU team.
Alabama needs 5 to beat Tarleton State, Hogs down Troy in 4, Mizzou outlasts Xavier in 5, Auburn sweeps Mercer, Ole Miss sweeps TN Tech, and the Gators sweep Winthrop.
Kentucky currently trails Purdue 2-1, but is up in the 4th.

There was a father/daughter combo wearing MSU gear in the crowd that got some screen time! ππ€π

Kentucky extends it to 5, and then to extra points in the 5th, but Purdue pulls it out 18-16. Tough one for the Cats.

MS State gets swept in kind of ugly fashion by Wake Forest. Things in Starkville not looking so good.
LSU down to SE Louisiana 0-2 but looking a little better in the third.
