Kentucky at the bottom is crazy to see ngl And Bama at the top isn't? Alabama's always at the top of the SEC (alphabetically, at least)

Matches that intrigue me this weekend:
Florida @ Auburn - absolutely heartbreaking if Stuckey is out, as expected. Will UF still be adjusting? Can Aubbie capitalize?
UGA @ Florida - basically, ditto.
LSU @ Kentucky - both of these teams need something good.
Tennessee @ Kentucky - really big early season test. Is TN legit? Is KY up to it?
TAMU @ Arkansas - last year, Logan Lednicky almost singlehandedly beat the Hogs.

How do we feel about SEC's potential tournament teams and teams in range for a top 16 seed?
Relating to RPI Futures, I guess technically all these teams are in striking distance to potentially host the first weekend: Florida (7) Arkansas (11) Tennessee (15) Texas AM (19) Kentucky (22)
With Auburn (36), Georgia (49), Mississippi State (52), and maybe LSU (61) vying for at-large bids. MS State really doesn't have the resume to be in the conversation though.
Do we expect A&Ms RPI to drop significantly? I'm surprised to see them so high without beating any real teams of note. I didn't expect them to even be a tournament team coming into conference play. I wonder what record Kentucky would have to sustain in conference play to earn a seed. And does LSU have a shot at the tournament still? I was rooting for them going into the season. Weird to see them only five spots above Mizzou (66) in RPI futures. Edit: If Stuckey's injury isn't as bad as it may seem, I would like to know the likelihood of Florida earning a top four seed with say 2 or less losses in conference play.
And yes I know it's just RPI futures and not the real deal yet so no need to remind me. Still plenty of season left.

There’s a lot of teams worthy this year.

There’s a lot of teams worthy this year. I doubt undefeated is necessary. Looking at their schedule, they get Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida twice each. Say they go 3-3 in those matchups, that would be 3 wins over teams also in consideration of hosting. You would think that coupled with the win over Houston who is kind of in contention would be enough right? Hard to say. Kentucky has to turn it around first and I guess we will know more Sunday vs. Tennessee.

Watched that match against SMU, just not in system enough. They don’t create many quality opportunities in transition either. But! Kentucky seems to be bearable these days. TAMU-Ark is a big one for both those programs. Either could challenge for a top 3 spot in the SEC with Kentucky and UF playing at the level that they are. But if you’re gonna be in that spot, you have to win this match.

I think A&M is the real deal, would not be surprised if they battle well in the conference and are right there for a top 16 seed. Their non conference wins do not have any heavy hitter but they scheduled smart with good rpi competition. The heavy hitters can come in conference, look for them to steal one from Arkansas on Sunday
