I only caught the very end of the UK-LSU match, but impressive showing for the Cats especially considering Rebo was in sweats.
Deleye had 19 kills in 4 sets, hitting .444, and played 6-rotations. Building her resume for a chance at SEC FOY it seems!

LSU lost, but Anderson and Waak did an excellent job! Great adjustments by LSU. Too bad they didn't make some adjustments sooner, but they definitely have the tools to win.
My predictions are that Auburn will be a force to be reckoned with, and Ole Miss will be a sleeper team.

Ole Miss? Really curious about what makes you think that. Their non-conference performance was embarrassing.

Never mind. Upon further thought, I agree with you on Ole Miss. I still think Auburn will do well.

Not denying they have the tools to win tough matches, but not sure this is a match to say they made great adjustments... they hit like .000 in the last set and only got to 13 points.

Seems like a lot of key players not on the floor tonight. UF no Stucky AUB no M1 Kemp UK no Rutherford OM no Ratliff That looks more like an all-SEC team than an injured reserve list. Hope to see some of them back on the floor soon.

Hope everyone is back on the floor soon. Stucky won't be, she's out for the season. More notable really that Hutson didn't play.

I still think Auburn will do well. Until they figure out how not to choke away matches like they did tonight, their ceiling is limited. They have the height and arms to cause problems, though.

That Auburn offense disappeared down the stretch there. Back to back in system left side sets that Anderson had to give away on bad up and down tips, as well as two long errors by Anderson. Do we know what’s going on with Zimmerman? She’s a critical offensive piece for them. Bella bell played in that spot tonight but she’s not anywhere near the same high ball hitter. Zimmerman did play but only as a serve sub? Puts a ton more pressure on Auburns outsides.

She kept setting Bell instead of Scheer, who was more effective, imo. I asked my buddy who's an Auburn fan about Zimmerman, and he just shrugged and said, in essence, that Crouch just recruited over her in the portal. When Bell was out, Harmon stepped in at OPP, not Bel. Weird - I thought she was pretty good last year.

LSU is going the wrong direction at the moment. The adjustments mid-match made no sense. That’s not to say adjustments weren’t needed, I just don’t agree with the adjustments made and pretty sure the numbers will back that up. There’s plenty of other options at different positions that just haven’t been explored, but TJ appears to be mostly sticking to what she feels makes the best team on the court, although the results are leaving a lot of questions.

Idk if it's been said yet, but thank the volleyball gods that we don't have back to back scheduling against the same team anymore.
Imagine UF and Auburn having to play again yesterday after that brutal 5 setter Friday night. No thank you. So glad that nonsense is over.

I was really high on the theory of that LSU roster. The reality, not so much.

Some critical matches today in the now seemingly wide open SEC. I think these top 4 to 5 teams could all make a really cool run at an SEC championship. Tennessee v Kentucky Arkansas v A&M Georgia v Florida All of those teams have high hopes of finishing in the top tier of the SEC. These matches will factor into much of that.
