When will the SEC POY awards be announced? Good question. Monday, I'm guessing.

SHOCKED Fischer got POY, but not disappointed. Sands from Mizzou is also shocking, but not disappointing. A 4-way tie for COY is... unsatisfying. All-SEC teamJill Gillen Arkansas Taylor Head Arkansas Hannah Hogue Arkansas Madison Scheer Auburn Kennedy Martin Florida Kacie Evans Georgia Sophie Fischer Georgia Eleanor Beavin Kentucky Brooklyn DeLeye Kentucky Emma Grome Kentucky Reagan Rutherford Kentucky Azhani Tealer Kentucky Jordan Iliff Missouri Maya Sands Missouri Morgahn Fingall Tennessee Caroline Kerr Tennessee Jenaisya Moore Tennessee Logan Lednicky Texas A&M All-Freshman Team
Kennedy Martin Florida Brooklyn DeLeye Kentucky Molly Tuozzo Kentucky Jurnee Robinson LSU Sierra Dudley Missouri Caroline Kerr Tennessee Bianna Muoneke Texas A&M

I KNEW they would choose Deleye. WTF. She’s great, but seriously? Not even co-FOY with Martin?!

While I totally -- TOTALLY -- get it (Iliff, Lednicky, Finghall, Rutherford), I'm bummed for Maggie Cartwright. Very solid all around (six-rotation player) who I don't think ever got her due.
And while I'm harping on Arkansans getting overlooked, Courtney Jackson is one of the most under-appreciated players in the league. Not a knock on Beavin or Sands, who were both terrific.
That out of the way, I think it's a pretty solid list. The Freshman team is really talented, too.

Super cool of the committee to put 3 of the 4 SEC teams hosting in the same regional...and the Nebraska regional at that.

No ulterior motives there… The committee really bungled this. Put Pitt/Louisville together and also have Wisconsin, Penn St, and Purdue in the same region. I think they need to start being more mindful of spreading out conference opponents. The fans are excited to see new match ups, not a continuation of conference play.

Waak will not be returning to LSU next season. She is expected to enter the portal. Rome is now the only active setter on the roster
Also Flickinger and Williams will not be taking their 5th years. Looking like TJ and staff are moving on from players that Flory recruited. There will now only be less than a handful of players left from before TJ took over.

Or it could've been their choice to leave/not return? I don't have any inside scoop, but with Anderson leaving the team mid way through the season it makes me wonder.
