pak has another year... redshirt plus covid year. Maybe they find a scholly for her, would be the best option. Your starting setter is not on schollie?? How often does that happen. Or are you just saying she doesn’t have one for next year? |

Or are you just saying she doesn’t have one for next year? I don't know for sure currently. She was a walk-on in recruiting. She got very little PT in 2021 or 2022. She was not the starting setter to start this season. So I'm not sure what would have moved her from walk-on to scholarship. Could have happened before the start of this season, as a backup setter, but it isn't something anybody has mentioned. Indoor isn't like Beach where a coach can offer a partial scholarship. |

Guessing here, but I would assume Alfee would offer Pak a scholarship for next year . . . If he does and she accepts, I could see Tufono moving on if she wants to set. . . She’s a talented player . . . I just don’t see her wanting to be third string setter again next year when she could set for another school.

I doubt there is a scholarship available unless it is pulled from someone else or a non current senior transfer to another program. Reft brought in two unimpressive pin transfers So so happy and proud of Pak. Most walk ons do not stay for four years at UCLA. Happy to see her proved herself and become the best blocking UCLA in the last two decades. Took a kick on her face from Becker, had a kick save, served three aces in a row. This girl is tough! |

Her defense is great. And let's be serious: UCLA as a WHOLE got aced a lot this year. Olson, Leverette, Hendrickson, Breon, Lutz, Dueck. Let's not act like Tufono was the only one passing badly. |

Honestly proud of this team… they struggled early, but alfee helped improve this team a lot in the end.

Olson, Leverette, Hendrickson, Breon, Lutz, Dueck. Let's not act like Tufono was the only one passing badly. I totally agreed and don’t get me started on the left pins passing. I hope Kiki Horne will start next year. Olson is the weakest pin starter since Maddy Klineman Can anyone be so kind to reveal KiKi Horne ranking in the 2024 class? |

Even when they had 6-6 Felix and 6-5 Frager, they don’t block that well

Even when they had 6-6 Felix and 6-5 Frager, they don’t block that well Amir Lugo-Rodriguez was one of the best blockers Long Beach State when he was a player there. He was a beast and it's translated to his coaching game. He did incredible things with Northwestern's block and now he's brought that same fire to UCLA. Glad he brought Becker with him. |
