Hello folks-- in the hopes of consolidating a few threads about the Bruins for next year, I'm kicking off a UCLA 2023 thread to keep fans of the Blue and Gold organized. (Thanks to bruinsgold for making my morning by sharing the news of a new head coaching hire). This officially kicks off the Reft era for UCLA volleyball, only the fourth head coach in the storied program's history. How are we feeling about the hire? What are our early speculations for the roster next year? I'll be updating this post as we get more information about the lineup (including transfers in and out of the program). Thanks for your help in keeping Bruin volleyball fans organized. CONFIRMED PLAYERS
Ashley Mullen (S) - Freshman Brooklyn Briscoe (MB) - Freshman Mokihana Tufono (S)- Sophomore Katie McCarthy (DS/L)- RS Sophomore Cheridyn Leverette (OH)- Sophomore Grayce Olson (OH)- Sophomore Peyton Dueck (DS/L)- Junior Francesca Alupei (MB)- Junior Iman Ndiaye (Opp)- Senior Audrey Pak (S)- Senior Kate Lane (S)- Senior Anna Dodson (MB)- RS Senior TRANSFERSCarly Hendrickson (OH)- Sophomore, Florida

Interested in who he hires for his staff! He is well connected. I wouldn't be surprised to see some big name former national team player to be in the mix.

Hello folks-- in the hopes of consolidating a few threads about the Bruins for next year, I'm kicking off a UCLA 2023 thread to keep fans of the Blue and Gold organized. Bless you! I'm not even a huge UCLA fan, just have been following them more closely since they announced joining the Big 10 (and learning I do indeed have the Pac12 Network đ
) and keeping track of all of these has been maddening (but also rounding them up in case anybody wants to share this thread there or do some browsing):

Youâre the best for linking all of these threads!! I always wonder why itâs so hard for UCLA threads to stay organized, yet the âfuture for Stanfordâ thread from over a decade ago can continuously organize their fans.

All former staff (except the DOVO who I was told left before this fall season...oops) is off the roster. Does that mean they aren't even going to be considered to be retained? I know Minnesota kept the former assistants on the roster for well over a week and waited for Cook to meet with them before making a decision and removing them.

Congrats to Alfee. With his Hawaii ties, I hope he continues the tradition of UCLA participation in the Hawaii pre-conference tournaments. UH vs. UCLA is always one of the matchups that Hawaii fans look forward to every season.

Do we know for certain if Charitie Luper is leaving the UCLA program. Can a player enter the transfer portal to explore options then ultimately stay in the program?

Reft needs to get moving. Wenaas and Parra in the portal. He can build a stacked team like Texas 2022 if he wanted lol

He can build a stacked team like Texas 2022 if he wanted lol Not quite like Texas 2022 because, despite the many transfers they brought in, they already had two very established studs in Eggleston and O'Neal to lead the tea . UCLA currently doesn't have that. Maybe more like USC 2021 where Keller brought in a bunch of older players to play while he coached his underclassmen/recruited what he needed for the next few years.
