Was there a reason Johnson started Berger at setter over Bishop and Muisenga? Was it just to get a different look at the team or was it for rest after the last two day?

Was it just to get a different look at the team or was it for rest after the last two day? Not sure why but I’m surprised Berger isn’t redshirting this season. Are three setters necessary for the season? |

Are three setters necessary for the season? I know this is basically a throw away year again for MSU considering how young everyone is so maybe it does make sense for Berger to redshirt so she can get another year with a more Big Ten esque roster than what they currently have. But I really feel like if the job is open to win, she's gonna win it. She's an incredible setter and I really just think Bishop hasn't done enough to really elevate herself since she came to MSU. Will be interesting to see what happens but I really feel like Berger is already the best setter in the room. |

Damn. Nalani had 12 digs in set 1 against Belmont.
Aliyah Moore still hasn’t played this weekend, but she is listed on the LiveStats (she wasn’t listed last weekend).

Looks like Moore was dressed looking at social media Horejsi, Kulig, Hood all not dressed It’s possible Moore just got beaten out in the lineup, or was sick/injured and she was not needed this morning. I hope we see her this weekend. Really hope O’Gorman works her way back into the lineup. She had a good freshman season but struggled last weekend. |

MSU up 2-0 on Michigan, but the 6-2 is back. 🤦🏻♀️
Offensively MSU is doing really bad, besides Holdem’s 14 kills, no one has more than 3 kills.

Forgot to share this one here as well: Danyle Courtley - OH - Rice to MSU Both portal additions have been hitters.
