Leah got a big 2023 commitment from a Polish player, Karolina Staniszewska. She was selected as the best outside hitter at last year's U19 European championships as she led Poland to a third place finish. She was the best scorer (in points/set) http://instagram.com/p/CmgfUSpsVza

Oh, please. Everyone on this board is well aware of the fiasco she walked into this year. Excited for her future, she is certainly one of the most genuine human beings in coaching. She has a lot of work to do, but she will get it done.

I totally get why they did that but do you think it will hurt recruiting with high school student in US?

Leah was hired to win (presumably lol) and will do what she has to to ensure her program is successful... is she responsible to help american kids? not really. International student athletes have their own challenges, so its not all happy and easy with them either. So its a two sided sword. (see someone like anthouli decommitting from Wisconsin or Malual leaving texas after a year)

I was more just asking if you have a lot of internationals does that pigeon hole you and you are always a team with mostly internationals. Or will she use momentum hopefully she creates to get higher touted high school kids to come.

I’m just not falling for all the talk. Not saying the staff won’t succeed, but the noise wears me out.

When Rutgers took intl players & kept losing, that did IMO.

Karolina and Berger are great gets! Excited to see what they can do in the NCAA! The other international recruits are really a gamble so we will see what they can produce. Also, interesting they got a benched middle from a mid major -kaya hood, 6’5”, played in 4 sets last year. Like the height but if she wasn’t starting at Samford, will she make any impact in the BIG?

I was hoping iosia was gunna get Parra up for a visit but idk how many scholarships msu has available? I’m guessing that Parra is looking to play 6 rotations in a good conference so I feel msu would be the perfect spot for her. One can only hope!

Hood has been injury prone and very slow. I wish her well, but I would be shocked if she sees the court in the B1G. She did not play at all at Samford.
